KAREN TSO, REPORTER
Former ABC journalist Karen Tso joined the Nine Network in 2005 to present and report on business and finance stories for National Nine News and Business Sunday. Karen is also the Today Show's personal finance contributor and presents a weekly segment on the program.
Prior to joining Nine, Karen presented a nightly finance spot on the ABC's flagship news and current affairs program Lateline.
She has also presented breaking news on the share market for ABC's Midday News and Business, broadcast nationally, as well as the ABC's Asia Pacific service, ASPAC. In 2002 Karen worked as a business reporter on ABC's Business Breakfast, and was also the finance commentator for Sally Loane Talkback on ABC Local Radio for four years.
Karen has a degree in business, receiving a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University, Queensland, in 1994. She has also studied for a Masters in Journalism at the University of Westminster, London, and at the University of Technology, Sydney.
While Karen's first passion is business, she also has a strong interest in horse racing and has covered major race meetings for ABC Radio and TV, including six Melbourne Cups.
